The former Malaysian international will be assisting Che Ku Marzuki after signing for 18 months with the TitansTerengganu based side, T-Team have boosted their coaching ranks by securing the signature of Azlan Johar as their new assistant coach.
The former Malaysian international is a well entrenched figure in nationn, having featured as a pundit for Astro Arena in recent times. He will join in to assist Che Ku Marzuki in reviving the fortunes of the Titans
His last coaching experience was with the KL Malay Mail team in 2004 but the man himself is excited of this new challenge.
"I would like to thank the T-Team management for trusting me with this position," Azlan told Utusan Malaysia.
"Terengganu is not foreign to me. In fact its more like my second home, as I spend a lot of time there as well as the fact that I used to play there back in the days."
"I hope I can do my best for T-Team and my aim is to get T-Team to produce plenty of young and good players.
Besides featuring for the Turtles, Azlan has also played for Selangor and Johor in the 70s and 80s, before more recently becoming a pundit with Astro Arena.
His first task will be to ensure that they put on a strong performance in the upcoming Malaysia Cup competition.
