D. Saarvindran, Harimau Muda's budding talent, thanks Head Coach Ong Kim Swee for having faith in him, but vows to be better

D. Saarvindran is one of the players identified by Harimau Muda 'A' Head Coach Ong Kim Swee to be a budding talent after showing great performances when the Young Tigers were training in Slovakia for the last few months.

He was clearly one of the favourites as he was selected for the first eleven in most of the friendly games, including the 2013 Universiade in Kazan, Russia and the player admitted that he is happy with his performance but still wants to improve.

Speaking to Foxsports, Saarvindran: "I am satisfied with my performance in Europe but at the same time I still want to improve my performance and do better if I get the chance to play in the Merdeka Cup and of course, the SEA Games.

The 21-year-old also reserved praises for coach Ong Kim Swee who has faith in him which also spurs him on to improve even further.

"Coach Ong has faith in me.

"If he did not, I wouldn't be playing in the first 11 in almost every game in Europe, and especially in Kazan.

"I really appreciate his faith in me and I would not disappoint him and the team," Saarvindran enthused.
