Johor Football Association have released a statement denying reports in certain media outlets that the Singapore legend has been sacked
Johor Football Association (JFA) have released a statement through their Secretary-General, Fahmy Yahya denying that Fandi Ahmad has been sacked from his position as coach of Johor Darul Takzim.
According to Bernama, Fahmy has denied the widespread rumours stating that Fandi Ahmad had been sacked from his current post effective on July 29th.
Fahmy stated that JFA never released any statement regarding these issues and he has confirmed that all the rumours are fake.
There were also rumours linking former Atletico Madrid and Valencia coach, Cesar Ferrando Jimenez, saying that he would take over and work with Azmi Mohamed to help Johor Darul Takzim in the Malaysia Cup competition.
