The Thai League side will travel to Kuala Lumpur to take on the Malaysian national team in a friendly game on the 16th of July
The Thai league is set to go on a break to accomodate the pre-season stops of Manchester United and Chelsea and Chonburi FC have decided to travel to Malaysia and contest a friendly match against the national team to keep their players fit.
"Between 14-17th of July, we will travel to Malaysia for training and we will be taking on the Malaysian national team for a friendly match on the 16th of July," Head Coach Worrawut Srimanka said via a statement on their official website.
The Malaysia national team themselves are scheduled to kick start centralised training on the 11th of July, meaning that they will now have 5 days to prepare for the game against Chonburi. King Raja's men are then scheduled to face Chelsea on the 21st of July before flying off to Japan for a series of friendly matches there.
Following that, they will return and take on Barcelona in the hugely anticipated clash at the Bukit Jalil Stadium on the 10th of August.
