Dollah Salleh worried that PKNS almost made a comeback

Pahang Head Coach, Dollah Salleh was worried that PKNS almost successfully made a comeback after Damion Stewart was taken off due to injury
Last night PKNS and Pahang fought through a nine-goal thriller at the Shah Alam Stadium but it was the Tok Gajah that came out 5-4 winners.

Patrick Ronaldinho Wleh bagged four goals but it wasn't enough to overcome strikes from Amirulhadi, R. Gopinathan, Mathias Conti, Mohd Faizol and an own goal from Helmi Remeli.

Speaking after the ding-dong battle at Shah Alam Stadium, Dollah Salleh admitted to be a little worried that Pahang might be pegged back by the Red Ants.

"After we got to 5-1, we did sit back a little and that invited PKNS to attack us.

"From the outside, we can only urge the players to keep going and thankfully we managed to hang on till the end," Dollah said, expressing his relief.

Dollah then added: "We missed Damion in the second half.

"When we pulled him off due to injury, we feared that Wleh would overpower us and that proved to be true."

When asked for his plans for the upcoming Malaysia Cup, Dollah highlighted: "We will have to plan for it but first the team will break for the Raya holidays.

"After that, we will regroup and see how it goes."
