This comes after the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) indicated its desire to have all teams in the M-League privatized in order for them to participate in the AFC Champions League.
Zainol said that the Perak FC committee will consist of several PAFA committee members along with others from PAFA Holdings to monitor the team's developments.
An official from PAFA exclusively told Goal that the decision was made to show their eagerness to continue competing in Malaysian Super League (MSL) in the upcoming season.
"We registered early so that the name, 'Perak FC' will be ours when we launch the rebranding later on," he declared.
When asked about the rebranding target, he said: "We still haven’t decided when to officially start using the name but we are ready, and when FAM wants us to use it, we can operate immediately."
Perak are now ninth in the league with four games left to play.
