The Disciplinary Committee of the FAM have yet to receive any reports from Datuk Azzuddin Ahmad regarding the criticism from former PFA president, Datuk Seri Shahidan Kassim
The Disciplinary Committee of the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) will first analyse the report made by the secretary-general of FAM, Datuk Azzuddin Ahmad, before taking any action against the Perlis Football Association (PFA) and their former President, Datuk Seri Shahidan Kassim, who continues to criticise the footballing institution.
Ednan Othman, the Vice President of the committee said that they are still waiting for a full report before they can start any investigation on the statement.
Speaking to Bernama, Ednan said" “We have not received any reports from the FAM secretariat and we can’t simply act on this matter.”
Earlier Shahidan released a statement hihglighting his anger towards the FAM, where he claimed they had ‘fired’ and suspended him, but since then no one had ever asked about PFA.
He also commented on how the FAM has ignored the PFA, who are currently having serious financial problems.
Azzuddin however said that he has given the decision to the disciplinary committee on whether or not to punish Shahidan, despite the fact that he is currently serving a suspension.
