Kelantan skipper, Badhri Radzi, made a promise to beat Johor Darul Takzim in the FA Cup final on June 29
The captain of the Red Warriors, Badhri Radzi, has made a promise to the Kelantan faithful that they will destroy Johor Darul Takzim to become the FA Cup champions on June 29 at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil.
As the reigning champions, Badhri (Piya) also insisted that they will seize the opportunity to play in the final and his teammates will make sure that Kelantan successfully defend thier title.
Speaking to Sinar Harian, Piya said: "The clash with JDT would be the match that all the football fans in Malaysia are waiting for and I believe that this final would be different from the previous ones."
"JDT is a strong team.
"They have stars like Safiq Rahim, Safee Sali, Norsharul Idlan and Azwan Roya and few other players.
"I think Norshahrul and Azwan will be the biggest threat to Kelantan and we need to focus on them more in the final.
"However, we will fight till the end to ensure the victory is ours," he added.
Piya also added that he wants to win the title for the Red Warriors' supporters.
Kelantan qualified for the final after beating their arch-rivals Terengganu in a nail-biting match while JDT scrapped through on the away goals rule versus Pahang.
