Kelantan's advisor, Tan Sri Annuar Musa, was delighted with his team's semi-final first leg display and wants JDT in the final of the Malaysia FA Cup
Tan Sri Annuar Musa was a satisfied man after seeing Kelantan defeat rivals Terengganu 4-1 in the first leg of the Malaysia FA Cup semi-final, and now he hopes that his boys will progress into the final.
He is also hoping that the Red Warriors will meet Johor Darul Takzim, who also won in their first leg, in the final.
Speaking to Sinar Harian, Annuar said: "We hope we can meet JDT in the final because the last time we played them we lost as we did not have our full squad available for that match.
"So hopefully this time we will have our full squad, and we will play on a neutral ground, so that we can truly test JDT."
When commenting on Bojan Hodak’s tactics of not playing their main players in the game against JDT in order to prepare for the semi-final clash, Annuar said that he is satisfied with the Croatian’s explanation.
"Last night we agreed that Bojan should field our best players.
"He has proven his point and we accept it,” he added.
Defending champions Kelantan, who were trailing for most of the game, played with their strongest 11 and went goal-crazy in the last 10 minutes of the game to score four times, giving them an excellent chance of reaching the final.
