"It was the season’s worst result for us."
That was what Kelantan boss, Tan Sri Annuar Musa, wrote on his Facebook page after Kelantan stumbled in Larkin by a two-goal margin last night.
Annuar was outraged to see all Kelantan’s three key players on the bench; Badhri Radzi, Indraputra Mahayuddin and Norfarhan Mohd when they were playing against league title contenders, Johor Darul Takzim.
However, before the game kicked off, Annuar posted that it was Bojan Hodak's decision to start without their regular players - saying that it was all up to the coach.
Kelantan was outclassed by Fandi’s charges after two former Red Warriors, Norshahrul Idlan and Nurul Azwan scored a goal each in Kota Bharu on Wednesday night.
Annuar hinted that Hodak's job is in jeopardy if their inconsistent performance continues when the Turtles visit them this weekend for the FA Cup semi-final.
He stated: "The match against Terengganu this weekend will be the benchmark for those who had been given a task. Nobody will be given the free pass if we fail."
