Premier League leaders Sarawak became the first team to book their spot into the Malaysian Super League (MSL) next season after recording a 3-0 victory over Pos Malaysia at Selayang.
With three games remaining, the Crocs were comfortable at the top of the table with 49 points, four points more than second-placed Sime Darby, after 19 matches.
Sarawak beat Pos Malaysia, with goals coming from Muamer Salibasic and Bobby Gonzales in the second half, which guaranteed their promotion to play in the MSL next season.
The Crocs will make their reappearance in the top tier and will play with big teams such as Johor Darul Takzim, LionsXII, Kelantan and Selangor.
Sarawak has never won the Malaysia Cup, but they did win the FA Cup, Community Shield and the Premier League title once each in their history.
