Badhri Radzi wants to score more goals like the one he did against Ayeyawady United in the recent AFC Cup clash
If most footballers want to be a free-kick specialist, it is a totally different case for Kelantan’s skipper Mohd Badhri Radzi (Piya), as he wishes to be a corner-kick specialist.
This was said after Piya scored an unexpected goal, when his corner-kick went straight into Ayeyawady United’s goal in their AFC Cup clash at the Sultan Muhammad IV Stadium last Tuesday.
According to Sports247, Piya has described the goal as the best goal he has ever scored in his career and it is even more special as he scored the goal in an international competition.
He also added that he had scored a goal similar to this a few years back against Perlis, but he never thought of doing it again this year.
"I used to score like that from corner-kicks, but this one is more special because the ‘miracle goal’ happened in an AFC Cup match.
"For me it is not impossible to make that kind of a goal in a football match, but I have to admit it needs a lot of practice," said the Red Warriors' captain.
