KAFA want to use Manchester United as an example for them to improve their management and player development
Kelantan’s Football Association's (KAFA) recent visit to Manchester United has given them some ideas to improve the association in the future.
It’s Vice President, Datuk Ismail Md Noor, said that the trip’s objective was to see and analyse how Manchester United run their club, especially in the aspect of player development.
"I can see and feel how Manchester United is really advanced when it comes to management and growth of the club.
"One aspect that really amazed me was how the club generated their income from their merchandise sales until the United brand became very popular and powerful,” Ismail told Sinar Harian.
Ismail also said that through this trip, he will present some suggestions to KAFA to take a similar approach as United.
"Tan Sri Annuar Musa has a clear mission and vision in the development and branding Kelantan team.
"As proof, last year, KAFA was chosen as the best association," he added.
