KAFA to investigate huge lost to Maziya

KAFA advisor, Tan Sri Annuar Musa, says that Kelantan's 6-1 loss to Maziya in the AFC Cup must be investigated thoroughly

The Kelantan Football Association (KAFA) will be conducting a thorough investigation of the Red Warriors’ 6-1 lost to Maziya Sports and Recreation Club of the Maldives.

KAFA advisor, Tan Sri Annuar Musa, said that the investigation, which will be led by the Chairman of the Inquiry Team Datuk Rosmadi Ismail, is important to find out the root cause of the defeat and not simply place the blame on anyone.

"What happened in the Maldives requires a thorough investigation to identify the cause of the defeat," Annuar wrote on his Facebook page.

"While we understand the Red Warriors might not have needed a win to qualify for the second round on top of the coach’s (Bojan Hodak) need to rest players, giving up five goals in 45 minutes, should be investigated," he added.

Bojan Hodak's side have already qualified for the next round of the AFC Cup after picking up 10 points from five matches and have one more group game left to play against Myanmar's Ayeyawady United on April 30th.
