FAM President express his disappointment at TMJ's decision

The President of the Football Association Malaysia (FAM), Sultan Ahmad Shah, was disappointed to see Tunku Ismail step down and hopes that he will reverse his decision
Sultan Ahmad Shah has expressed his disappointment at the resignation of the Young Prince of Johor, Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim, who left his post as the President of the Johor Football Association.

While hoping that TMJ will change his decision, Sultan Ahmad Shah said that ever since he became the president, TMJ was well accepted amongst Johor fans.

According to Sinar Harian, Sultan Ahmad Shah said: "I think they really need him."

At the same time, Sultan Ahmad Shah said that TMJ must be prepared to obey all the rules of the FAM if he wants to be involved in sports.

"He can't run from the law even when you are willing to give your service for whatever role you have because the FAM has rules.

"No one is above the law in Malaysia and like I said, nobody is perfect," said Sultan Ahmad Shah.

This was in response to Tunku Ismail releasing a media statement announcing his resignation as the President of Johor Football Association, effective immediately.
