ATM captain Hairuddin Omar believes that squad members will be able to step up and replace the main players who are suspended for the clash against KelantanATM captain Hairuddin Omar is hoping that the crunch match between the Gladiators and Kelantan on March 29, will not be spoiled by the suspension of three of his teammates by the Football Assocation of Malaysia (FAM).
However, Hai-O is confident that his coach, B. Sathianathan, has a plan in place to overcome Kelantan.
Speaking to Sinar Harian, Hai-O said: "Rezal Zambery and K. Rueben cannot play because they are suspended for one game.
"At the same time, R. Surendran, G. Jeevanathan and Fitri Omar will also be out because they were suspended for four games following the incident with Selangor earlier this year.
"Despite losing them, I still have the utmost confidence in the ability of my teammates and I am sure our coach has his own strategy to overcome any problems," he said.
Hai-O also commented on his goal drought for the past 10 games, and conceded that "the time will come".
"Honestly I do not mind my own personal score because what's more important is the team.
"In fact, my target for the season is for ATM to win the Super League," Hairuddin added.
