National full-back, Mahali Jasuli, admitted that Malaysia have lacked focus and made a lot mistakes lately

Mahali Jasuli has conceded that he was below par during the recent friendly game against Saudi Arabia, and said that the two goals conceded in the first half were due to defensive errors.

The Selangor player said that it is a worrying problem because, if the team keep making similar mistakes, it could cost them in the Asian Cup Qualifier against Yemen this Friday.

Mahali hopes that Malaysia can rise again and keep from making mistakes which always give their opponents the advantage.

According to Astro Arena, while admitting that the Malayan Tigers lacked focus lately, the full back realises that only positive results can attract the crowds back to the stadium.

Malaysia lost 4-1 to Saudi Arabi in their warm-up game before they face Yemen in a crucial Asian Cup Qualification match this Friday.
