B. Sathianathan praised his players after they made a thrilling comeback to beat Perak 4-2 away from homeB. Sathianathan commended his team for responding to his tactical changes after they came back from a two-goal deficit to win 4-2 against Perak at the Tentera Laut Diraja Malaysia Stadium.
Claiming their first victory after a long break, Sathia praised the commitment and never-give-up attitude that his players showed in scrapping for the win.
Describing the four goals, which came from captain Hairuddin Omar (21'), Christie Jayaseelan (42') and Marlon Alex James (45' and 85'), as "team-work goals", Sathia said: "I decided to change the formation after Perak scored two early goals."
Speaking to Sinar Harian, Sathia added: "The opposition controlled the game in the first 25 minutes of the first half, but after we changed the tactics, we managed to rise again and stop them from controlling the game."
At the same time, Sathia hopes his team can continue their momentum for the next game.
He also denied that 'The Gladiators' overly rely on Marlon James.
"Our victory is not only because of Marlon.
"We have Hai-O, who is on the same level with him.
"So is Christie and Shukor Adan. Everyone has their own strength and I don't think we will have a problem if we can't play Marlon one day," he added.
