Badhri Radzi earns first official call up

The Kelantan captain is among 27 players who have received the call up from the Football Association of Malaysia

Kelantan’s Badhri Radzi receives his first official call-up for the Malayan Tigers.

The 30-year-old was disappointed to have been left out of Datuk K. Rajagopal’s selection for the 2012 AFF Suzuki Cup but now the Red Warriors’ skipper has earned the opportunity to play for his country.

In a statement released this afternoon, the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) have called up 27 players for international duties ahead of the the Tigers' 2015 Asia Cup Qualifier against Yemen later this month (see full list below).

Other prominent players who were called up include: Hadi Yahya, Mahalli Jasuli, Shukur Jusoh, Norshahrul Idlan Talaha, Safiq Rahim and Wan Zack Haikal.

Before Malaysia takes on Yemen on March 22, they will be playing a friendly against Saudi Arabia on March 17 - both games will be played on Malaysian soil.

After the 2015 Asia Cup Qualifier, on March 26, the Malayan Tigers will welcome Palestine for a Charity game.
