The Seladangs have signed him from Thai league side Muangthong United, as they look to solve their goal-scoring woes
The Seladangs have looked solid defensively this year, but they have only netted four goals in seven Malaysia Super League matches thus far. The form of Karim Rouani has been pretty shambolic, while Hadi Yahya is still struggling to regain the goal-scoring touch that saw him win the Golden Boot in 2011. Thus Rangel's arrival will definitely boost their hopes of scoring more goals offensively
Ronnarit Suevaja, Director of SCG Muangthong United exclusively told Goal.com Thailand, "Paulo is a great player. He performed well for us last season. But for now, we have way too many foreign players and there's a quota imit. A player of his calibre should play regularly. That's why we don't want to sell him."
"When the loan ends, he will return to us with overseas experience, which will improve him a lot." Suevaja enthused.
Paolo Rangel joined SCG Muangthong last year, scoring 12 goals. He'll now join forces with his close friend and ex-teammate at the Killins, Rafael Novais.
