Bakti said that the lack of their two import players was the reason why his team only managed a draw against PKNS.
According to Irfan, the absence of Forkey Doe had a huge impact on the team's style of play.
Speaking to Sinar Harian, Irfan said: "We look incomplete without our import players. Every move we made didn't come off. Overall, I did not think we played well. Our players' performance last night was poor.
"And I have to admit that our local players were not at their best," he added.
With the draw, Selangor now has 14 points from eight matches and sit behind ATM in second place on the Malaysian Super League table.
"It's a waste because we failed to close the gap when we only managed to get a draw," said the former Terengganu coach.
