Negeri Sembilan's Chief Minister has announced that the country's first artificial field is ready for use by MarchNegeri Sembilan can be proud because they will be the first state in the country to have an artificial field after it was laid at the Youth and Sports Complex in Paroi.
Chief Minister Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan said the artificial field completes the facilities at the complex for recreational purposes.
According to Bernama, Hasan said: "The cost to have this artificial field is RM2.5 million and it will be open to the public starting from the first of March."
He also said that the artificial field has got accreditation from FIFA and is suitable for use in international matches.
Hasan also added that the maintenance costs for the artificial field is much cheaper than that of a normal field.
