The Kelantan Football Association (KAFA) took the drastic measure of re-signing their former manager from 2009-2012, Azman Ibrahim, to once again lead the team for the rest of of the season.
The announcement was made by Tan Sri Annuar Musa through his social networking page after Bojan Hodak's men lost to Selangor 2-0.
According to Sinar Harian, Annuar said: "Team's offcials were asked to quickly fix the current situation that's happening to the team and Azman Ibrahim was asked to return as the team's manager. Bojan Hodak and his assistant have been asked to focus on coaching."
Azman, when contacted, was suprised with his appointment but is relishing the big task ahead in helping the Red Warriors return back to their best.
"Before this, I did hear some [news] regarding this matter but I took it only as rumours. But if the decision can help the team, I must take it even though the truth is I still want to spend more time with my family. I am not a magician that can change the team but with our dipping form, we have to work hard to improve the squad," Azman said.
