The Young Tigers recorded their second consecutive win on their Australian Tour by defeating Australian Premier League's (A-League) Brisbane Lions SC 2-1 at the Queensland Sports and Athletics Centre, Australia.
The Malaysia Under-23 players, who won against Palm Beach Sharks 5-1 in their first game, took the lead in the game through Izzaq Faris. The home team equalised 10 minutes after that, before Rozaimi Abdul Rahman scored the winner in the 39th minute.
The win is their second win in as many games on the Australian Tour and had Ong Kim Swee in a very good mood.
According to Bernama, Kim Swee wanted his team to maintain their good performance for the remainder of the tour.
Ong Kim Swee's men will play their last match of the tour against A-League champions Brisbane Roar on February 5th.
