Young Tigers are off to a good start in Australia

Ong Kim Swee and his players were off to a good start in Australia by winning their first friendly game against Palm Beach Sharks 5-1
Malaysia under-23 team started well in their warm-up matches as they beat Palm Beach Sharks 5-1 at Australia.

Wan Zaharulnizam, Rozaimi, Izzaq Faris and a brace from Thamil Arasu all found the net and gave a comfortable win at Brisbane, Australia.

The Young Tigers were totally dominant in the first half and Wan Zaharulnizam opened the scoring in the 24th minute. Four minutes later, Rozaimi added more misery to the home side after a mistake from Sharks' goalkeeper.

Thamil Arasu then scored two goals in 3 minutes just before the first half ended.

Ong Kim Swee then made 6 substitutions in the second half including lanky striker Izzaq Faris, who scored the fifth goal.

The Sharks got their consolation goal in the 82nd minute.
