The Titans' head coach is unhappy with the performances of his foreign player so far, claiming that they have to drastically improve their performancesT-Team head coach Peter Butler believes that Caleb Folan and George Boateng have not lived up to his expectations so far. Both men came in with a big CV, having previously plied their trade in the English Premier League, but neither have had a massive impact within the Kuala Terengganu based side yet.
Butler's men have won twice this season, beating defending champions Kelantan and LionsXII. However, the ex-Persiba Balikpapan head coach publicly admitted that he hasn't seen much from their expensive foreign duo.
"Well, I'm definitely unimpressed with Caleb Folan so far. He leads our line upfront but I have not seem him leave much impact yet, which is disappointing," he told Bernama.
"Then we have George Boateng, who hasn't played much because of his hamstring injury. We have had to rest him."
The Titans have been tipped by many as potential darkhorses this season and while Peter Butler believes that his squad can grow to become more potent, he is keen rotate the squad, and possibly give the Folan and Boateng some time off the pitch action to rest and recuperate.
T-Team's next challenge will be in the Malaysia FA Cup, as they prepare to take on Perlis at the Sultan Ismail Nasiruddin Shah Stadium this Friday.
