Abdul Rahman: Our players are too tired

Selangor PKNS coach, Haji Abdul Rahman, blamed the fixture congestion that has made his players tired and arguably cost them the game against Johor Darul Takzim.
Selangor PKNS coach, Haji Abdul Rahman, blamed tiredness amongst his players that led to their second home defeat of the season.

The manager said, "our players did not play to the level that we wanted, and I think the reason why was because we have played five games in two weeks and our players were tired physically. Even Johor's players were also the same, but we made more mistakes, especially the second and third goal were too easy for our opponent to score."

However, Abdul Rahman was quick to hail the cross from Guiza which led to the first goal. Speaking to the reporters after the game, he said Guiza's cross was world class, a description he also used for the striker. He believed the game was balanced, but the first goal made all the difference as they were not able to break down the visitor's defence.

When asked about the next game against Lions XII in the FA Cup, Abdul Rahman hoped that his team has some energy to fight on.

Selangor PKNS were defeated at home by Johor Darul Takzim FC, by a scoreline of 1-3.
