The president of Kelantan Football Association (KAFA), Tan Sri Annuar Musa, is worried about his team's performances after a 4-1 defeat to Sime Darby in a pre-season match.
According to Sinar Harian, he said that losing in friendly matches is normal, but to lose 4-1 is a definite worry.
Annuar said on his Facebook page, "Probably our forwards for 2013 are not as sharp and less aggressive." Annuar also seems to disagree with head coach Bojan Hodak for choosing Keita Modju ahead of Dimitri Petratos for the upcoming Malaysian League.
However, he leaves all the decisions for the Croatian to make as he describes Bojan as a better person to choose the players than him.
"Bojan has picked Keita for Malaysia League 2013, and Petratos will join in April if Keita has failed. I might have different opinions from what the coach has decided to do, but choosing who's to play is Bojan's job and I have to accept it as Bojan knows the matter more than i do."
Kelantan won the domestic treble last season and they will kick off their season this Saturday evening in their Community Shield Cup match against ATM at the Shah Alam Stadium.
