The Gladiators have to play their home games in Paroi next season, after two stadiums in Kuala Lumpur and Petaling Jaya became unavailable for different reasons
Angkatan Tentera Malaysia (ATM) will use the Tuanku Abdul Rahman Stadium in Paroi as their home ground for the 2013 Malaysian Super League (MSL).
The club’s coach, B. Sathianathan was forced to accept the decision as he had no other choice.
Speaking to their official website atmfa.my, Sathia said he was surprised that the stadium they used last season, the MBPJ Stadium in Petaling Jaya City did not fulfill the floodlights specifications set by the FA of Malaysia.
“We cannot play at the Selayang Stadium as it will be used for Premier League matches.
Despite the distance, I hope the fans will still come and support ATM in Paroi.”
Last season, the Gladiators used the MBPJ Stadium and the Selayang Stadium to play their homes matches in the domestic league.
