The Red Warriors’ new signing has promised to settle down fast and do his part to help the team continue winning next year
Kelantan’s new star, Zairo Anuar Zailani is determined to help the Red Warriors defend the three domestic titles they won this year.
The former T-Team skipper is convinced he will not take long to gel with his new team-mates, especially after having played with Indra Putra Mahayuddin and Norfarhan Mohammad when the duo were with T-Team last year.
“I don’t think it’ll be a problem for me to integrate myself into the team in a short space of time because I’ve played with some of the boys here before,” Zairo told Berita Harian.
“I’ll use my experience of playing alongside them to do well for Kelantan.”
The playmaker, who has 2 caps for the Malaysian national team added that the famous Kelantan support will push him to do better for his new club.
“This team is well-known for its fanatical supporters so I’m sure they’ll be an inspiration for me and the other new players - to give our best for the team.”
Zairo joined T-Team in 2010 after spending nine years with home state Terengganu. He went on to make 58 appearances and scored 26 goals for them before deciding to join Bojan Hodak’s outfit, following the expiration of his contract with the Titans last month.
