Lebanon’s Muhammad Ghaddar will not play for the Red Warriors next season and is likely to be replaced by Australian youth international Dimitrios Pertraros
Treble winners Kelantan have decided to look elsewhere after their import for this season; Lebanese forward Muhammad Ghaddar rejected the chance to extend his stay with the east coast outfit.
According to Kosmo, a club source has confirmed that Australian striker Dimitrios Petratos is being lined up to fill Ghaddar’s position for the upcoming season.
“Dimitrios (Dimi) Petratos is a young player from Sydney FC, a club based in New South Wales, Australia. He is also part of the Australian Under-23 team and one of the five young players who are part the club's senior squad.”
“We will seek his services on loan for six months and monitor his performance before taking it further,” the source said.
Apart from Petratos, Kelantan are also reported to be interested in signing Malaysia’s top attacker Safee Sali, following the loss of his international strike partner - Norshahrul Idlan Talaha, to Johor next season.
