As football fans keenly look forward to seeing the Harimau Malaya defend their crown in their opening game against arch rival Singapore this Sunday on 2012 AFF Suzuki Cup, ESPN STAR Sports has announced its most comprehensive coverage of the tournament in Malaysia.

The coverage includes broadcast of all 18 matches from the Group Stage of the 2012 ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) Suzuki Cup starting November 24th on ESPN STAR Sports networks, thus giving football fans the opportunity to not only follow their home team but also all other regional teams competing in this premier South East Asian football tournament.

Football fans will also be treated with the best match presentation with insightful analysis and match previews from football experts such as ex-Manchester United defender Paul Parker, Jamie Reeves & PJ Roberts, which will be helmed by ESS presenter Patrick Kinghorn. In addition, viewers can enjoy engaging match commentary by well-informed regional football experts Paul Masefield, John Wilkinson and Dez Corkhill.

ESS will further boost the coverage of the AFF Suzuki Cup with extended news reports on ESPN’s SportsCenter; Score Tonight on STAR Sports and on the 24X7 sports news channel, ESPNEWS. This year’s Suzuki Cup will be co-hosted by Malaysia and Thailand from November 24 to December 1 for the group stages. A home-and-away format will be adopted for the semi-finals (December 8 to 13), and finals (December 19 to 22).
