Former international Abdul Manaf Mamat wants to continue playing for the Turtles despite interests from other teams
Terengganu’s main striker Abdul Manaf Mamat has revealed he has no intention of quitting the east coast side and that he is fully committed to the Turtles.
The 25-year-old player said Terengganu is the only team he has ever turned out for and owes them a lot for providing him with the platform to grow as a footballer.
“Yes, there were several offers but I have rejected them all because my heart is still with Terengganu,” the former international told Harian Metro.
“Anyway, I still have contract with the Turtles for another year.”
The Kampung Nibong born player joined Terengganu when he was 19 years old and has 4 caps for the Malaysian national team. He was also part of the Malaysia Under-23 squad that won the 2009 SEA Games football gold medal in Vientiane, Laos.
