National team skipper, Safiq Rahim, vows that the Malayan Tigers will give their best in the remaining two friendly matches to increase team morale

After a lacklustre 1-0 defeat to Vietnam, national team captain Safiq Rahim was quick to verify the importance of gaining good results in the remaining two friendly matches against Thailand (tomorrow) and Hong Kong on the 14th of November.

"We need to give our best and achieve good results from the remaining two friendly matches to increase the team morale before the AFF Suzuki Cup campaign," he told Astro Arena from Bangkok, Thailand.

His battle cry will surely resonate with his teammates as the Malayan Tigers look to end their preparation for the AFF Suzuki Cup on a high note before embarking on a causeway derby against two of its biggest rivals, Singapore and Indonesia.

Malaysia will start their Suzuki Cup defence against Singapore (25 November), Laos (28 November), and Indonesia (1 December).
