Datuk K.Rajagopal gave an early idea of the players he is likely to choose for the Suzuki Cup next month, with the announcement of the squad that will take on Vietnam this Saturday
The Malaysian national team will leave for Hanoi today with 24 players onboard as chief coach Datuk K.Rajagopal left behind 4 players at the training base in Wisma FAM.
The four players are Selangor goalkeeper Norazlan Razali, Felda United’s Yong Kuong Yong and Kelantan duo; Nik Shahrul Azim and Rizal Fahmi Abdul Rosid.
Malaysia will play Vietnam in a friendly at the My Dinh Stadium on November 3 before travelling to Chiangmai to face the Thai national side on November 7.
The final 22 players will be named one day before the tournament kicks-off.
