Patrick ‘Ronaldinho’ Wleh is back in contention for Sime Darby FC’s match against Felda United tonight after coach Ismail Zakaria moved to deny the cancellation of his contract
Sime Darby FC have moved swiftly to refute rumours that the contract of its Liberian import, Patrick ‘Ronaldinho’ Wleh had been cancelled.
The future of the 22-year-old player was brought into question after it was reported yesterday that head coach Ismail Zakaria had chased him away from the team’s training session.
However, Ismail clarified to espnstar.my that Wleh misunderstood him and there is nothing much to the story.
“Patrick is still Sime Darby’s player. There’s nothing serious,” said Ismail.
“He’s still young and is playing in a foreign country so maybe he got offended.”
“But it was done only to spur him on because I wasn’t too happy with his performances in the first two games.”
Sime Darby will now travel to Malacca to take on in-form Felda United at the Hang Jebat Stadium tonight with Patrick definitely in tow.
