Liberian hitman, Patrick Ronaldinho Wleh, was adamant that the Premier League side do not want to be remembered only for their exploits in the FA Cup, where they ousted three Super League teams.
“We are a team to be reckoned in the prestigious Malaysia Cup competition. We have showed the big teams that we fear nobody and we will continue from where we left off in the knockout competition in May,” he said to the Star.
The 21 year old Liberian international has become an instant hit with the Sime Darby FC fans with his incredible goal scoring exploits having notched 15 goals in 18 matches.
Sime Darby FC are in Group C with three Super League sides – Felda United, Perak and defending champions Negri Sembilan.
Besides Wleh, Sime Darby FC can also bank on experienced players like defender Es Lizuan Zahid Amir and former Perak striker, Razali Umar Kandasamy.
