Selangor have made a brilliant piece of business by securing the services of Sabah’s young marksman Rozaimi Rahman on loan prior to the upcoming Malaysia Cup campaign in August.
Rozaimi, who finished top scorer in the recently concluded AFC U-22 Asian Cup qualification with ten goals, will be with the Red Giants for three months. The contract was officially signed by the Bongawan native in Kuantan, where he is with his home state Sabah, whom he helped to qualify for the SUKMA football event final tomorrow. The contract signing ceremony was witnessed by the secretary-general of Football Association of Selangor (FAS), Datuk Hamidin Amin and his Sabah counterpart, Alijus Sipil.
With this signing, Selangor have made clear their intention of bringing home the prestigious trophy for a record 33rd time.
