Barcelona have been boosted by the return to training of Gerard Pique and Jordi Alba ahead of the title-deciding clash with Atletico Madrid on Saturday.
Centre-back Pique suffered a cracked hip in the Champions League quarter-final first leg against Atletico, while his Spain team-mate Alba has been sidelined since suffering a hamstring injury in the Copa del Rey final loss to Real Madrid.
However, both players took part in a fitness session in Catalunya on Wednesday as they continue their race against time to be fit for the pivotal showdown with Diego Simeone's men at Camp Nou.
"The two players are in their final phase of recovery from injury, and both excercised on the pitch away from the main group, but with their eyes firmly fixed on the decisive “final” this Saturday," the club confirmed on their official website.
Barcelona also revealed that Neymar focused on "specific recovery work" as he looks to regain fitness before Saturday's match, while Isaac Cuenca took part in the main session with the rest of the senior squad.
Gerardo Martino's men know only victory will be enough for them to defend their Liga title against current league-leaders Atletico.
