The centre-half finds it grossly unfair that the midfielder has been made the scapegoat for the Blaugrana's poor form in recent weeks and wants the entire squad to feel their ireBarcelona defender Gerard Pique has told the club's supporters to take their frustrations out on the entire squad - and not just Cesc Fabregas.
The versatile midfielder has more assists in La Liga this season (12) that any other Blaugrana player, while he has also contributed eight goals to the Catalan cause.
However, Fabregas was jeered by certain sections of the Camp Nou crowd during last weekend's Liga win over Athletic Bilbao, much to dismay of Pique, who feels his team-mate is being made a scapegoat for the team's failings in recent weeks.
"It isn't good to have fans whistling you - particularly at home," the centre-half told reporters on Tuesday.
"I think it is a mistake to focus on just one player. Blame it on the players, okay, but not just Cesc.
"The season has not been good and I think we are all part of a group that haven't quite got things right."
Barcelona were eliminated at the quarter-final stage of the Champions League, lost the Copa del Rey final to Real Madrid and currently sit second in La Liga, four points behind leaders Atletico with four rounds remaining.
