The Spain international admits he is pleased to have overcome his recent injury difficulties and has stressed that he is has returned to peak condition once moreBarcelona attacker David Villa insists he has left his recent injury problems behind him and is feeling in top shape again after a difficult period.
The Spain international broke his leg at the Club World Cup in December 2011, and had since been struggling to rediscover his old form.
Nevertheless, Villa has put in a number of impressive displays in recent weeks, and he is happy to have overcome his difficulties at last.
"Physically, I’m at my best – I’ve got over all those little problems that were bothering me and I’m happy to be feeling fine again," the attacker told Barca TV.
"I’ve been working hard for quite a while to overcome my difficulties and I’m pleased to get to this stage of the season scoring goals and getting plenty of game time."
The 31-year-old has netted eight goals in 20 La Liga appearances so far this term.
