The Blaugrana centre-back has heaped praise on his team-mate for the way he continues to smash records, and also responds to comments from Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker CasillasGerard Pique has shared his admiration for his Barcelona team-mate Lionel Messi.
The 25-year-old defender says that the way the Argentina star continues to play at the same standards despite breaking records is a credit to him and his mindset.

Pique was also unperturbed by Iker Casillas' comments about the Camp Nou side's lack of La Masia players in the Barcelona first team a few years back.
"At the end of the day, he is the captain of Real Madrid and everything he says has weight."
