The European champions visit the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan on Saturday, and despite the Blaugrana lagging in the title race, the home coach says a win is more vital for the hosts
The Andalusian club host the European champions at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan this weekend, and are currently in 11th place in La Liga.
Due to the disappointing season that the home team have had so far, Michel feels that his men are chasing the win more than the visitors, who he believes have lost their Primera Division title.
"The league is Real Madrid's" the ex-Getafe trainer stated in a pre-match press conference.
"These points are more important for us than for Barcelona. They know they are uncomfortable behind Real Madrid, who are very strong."
Michel went on to praise Lionel Messi, and offer his sympathies to Eric Abidal, who needs another liver transplant.
"Messi is the best in the world, but also because he plays alongside other great players.
"It is very unfortunate news about Abidal; I wish he could be on the field and could play well for his team," he concluded.
