The Argentine coach did not wish to start a war of words with his Barca counterpart and stressed that his main concern is that the 23-year-old is able to playChile coach Claudio Borghi has played down criticism from Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola regarding Alexis Sanchez's latest injury.
The 23-year-old attacker is currently on Barca's treatment table after suffering a slight tear in the adductor muscle of his right leg in his substitute appearance during the club's 3-1 victory against Sporting Gijon earlier in the month.
After the match, Guardiola stated that Sanchez had suffered his injury in midweek while on international duty, but Borghi did not wish to stir up trouble with the Spanish coach.
"I have no interest in arguing with Guardiola," Borghi is quoted by EFE as saying.
"I have not had the pleasure to meet him in person and answering him through the media is complicated, since everyone always listens to and reads what they want.
"To get him to play is the most important thing for Barcelona and for ourselves."
Sanchez, who joined Barca from Udinese in the summer, has scored 11 goals in 25 competitive appearances for the Catalan club.
