thumbnail Hello,

The goalkeeper has officially ended his association with Getafe, and wants to replace Velez-bound Sebastian Sosa at the Bombonera to play once more under Julio Cesar Falcioni

Former Getafe goalkeeper Oscar Ustari has admitted that he would love the chance to star at Boca Juniors, highlighting the presence of coach Julio Cesar Falcioni as a key motivation for making the switch back to Argentina.

The 26-year-old is currently a free agent following the mutual termination of his contract with the Liga side. Plagued with injuries over his time in Spain, Ustari has not played an official game since May 2011; when he damaged his cruciate ligaments in a training session with the Argentine national team.

The ex-Independiente man is aware of the interest from Falcioni, who was Independiente coach when he made his debut in 2005, and affirmed that he would be keen on a reunion with the man who led Boca to the 2011 Apertura title and an appearance in this year's Copa Libertadores final.

"Julio gave me my first start," Ustari explained to Radio Rivadavia on Wednesday, before joking that he would wait outside the gates of the Bombonera until a deal was finalised.

"As a last resort I want [agent Claudio Curti] to act as a taxi driver and drop me off at the doors of the club to negotiate!"

Ustari played just 41 league games for Getafe in his five years in Madrid, after moving from Independiente in 2007 for an €8 million fee.
