JDT played out a 4-3 thriller against Terengganu at home.  Mostapha Dabo made an early surprise to the home fans with a goal just 5 minutes after the kick off and then doubled their lead it in the 16th minute through Norfarhan Muhammad. When the game looked like going in favour of the Turtles, Jorge Diaz proved why he deserved to wear the JDT shirt by scoring a hattrick in the 21’, 37’ and 53’ to turn the tide of the game. Before that, Mahali Jasuli got himself on the scoresheet in the 45th minute to give Bojan Hodak’s side a 4-2 lead. Vicent Bikana scored another in the last 6 minutes of the game but could not stop the Tigers from winning and moved to the top spot of the league.

Meanwhile, current leaders Selangor dropped to the second place after losing to ATM 2-0. Without Paolo Rangel, the home team looked unmotivated and gave Juan Arostegui the chance to terrorize the defence. He scored in each half with the first goal coming in the 28th minute and the second in the 64th minute of the game. The Red Giants need to bounce back in their next match against Kelantan to gain the top spot.

Stadium Darul Makmur was the venue for the battle between two East Coast teams; Pahang and Kelantan. Zainal Abidin’s men continued to shine with a narrow 1-0 victory against The Warriors. The only goal was scored by no other than the sensational forward, Matias Conti in the 64th minute. The visitors did put on a decent show but luck was not on their side. With the victory, The Elephants remained at the third place while The Red Warriors dropped to the seventh.

Perak's great run finally came to end after they suffered a heavy defeat against Sime Darby FC by 4-0. The goals were first scored by Dilshod Sharofetdinov in the 43rd minute and he added another one after break to give the team a two goals lead. The Bos Gaurus did not give their best which gave the home side two more goals through Nazrul Kamaruzaman (78’) and Shafiq Jamal (87’). With the win, Sime Darby moved above Kelantan to sixth.

Another match saw two football clubs; T-Team FC and PKNS FC competing with each other in a match which saw The Titans winning by 2 goals. The goals were scored by Patrick Wanggai in the 45th minute and Nizad Ayub in the 86th minute. With the lost, The Fire Ants remained at the bottom of the league and could be relegated.

LionsXII could only be satisfied with a draw against the mighty Sarawak. Both teams gave an excellent performance that night but failed to score any goals. In the end, the visitors gained a valuable point to remain in the MSL next season.
