Scoring two goals back to back is not easy, much less two nearly-identical screamers.

After securing a place in the final match for Pahang against his own home state team JDT in the second leg of the semi final match of the FA Cup with an attempt from outside the box, Faizol Hussien proved it was not a fluke by repeating it in the final match a week later.

Against Felda United, Faizol was not selected to start the match and the Elephants were trailing 1-0 from the 23rd minute. However in the 70th minute he was brought in and Faizol did not take long to make his mark.

In the 79 minute, he was given a short pass by a teammate outside the box, took a few steps and unleashed a beast of a shot a few yards from the edge of the box, which flew past the grasp of Felda goalkeeper Farizal Harun, as it did a week ago with JDT keeper Izham Tarmizi.

The equaliser only proved to spark his team's fighting spirit, and a few minutes from the end of regulation time, Dickson Nwakaeme scored the winner to earn Pahang the 2014 Malaysia FA Cup, and one of the two spots available for Malaysia in the 2015 AFC Cup.
