The Red Warriors were first in the April scramble, signing three players at the beginning of the window. After much debacle, former Sydney FC and Sabah midfielder Brendan Gan finally received his papers and he gets to call himself a Malaysian, and Kelantan have one more local player in their roster. In addition, they also signed former ATM man Fitri Omar, who has made his debut in their 2-1 home defeat to JDT I last Tuesday. But the high-profile signing honour surely goes to their capture of former Harimau Muda and FC Ryukyu winger; Wan Zack Haikal. However as Wan Zack is still completing his recovery from a long-term injury, it remains to be seen when he will get to make his debut.
The Terengganu club side, who are under the same administration with the state side Terengganu, have requested the services of three Turtles' players, according to Bernama. The secretary-general of Terengganu FA, Arpin Draman told the national news agency that they are close to releasing defender Nik Zul Aziz Nik Nawawi to the Titans, but are still in discussions in the matter of the remaining two players, one of the two being key midfielder Manaf Mamat.
He also told that T-Team are looking to replace their foreign players, who have been ineffective in their 2014 season.
T-Team are currently ninth in the league, whereas Terengganu are topping the table with one game in hand.
