After the short midweek sojourn with their respective national teams, the players returned to action in the Super League as Lions XII welcomed the visit of Kelantan. The visitors came away with all 3 points to move to the top of the league and will have to thank their foreign import, Francis Forkey Doe for this win.

The Liberian has been under par in his performances prior to this match but showed why he's one of the most sought after assets in the league as he drove Kelantan to victory. This, despite the fact that they had to go down to 10 men after Shakir Ali's red card.

Forkey Doe didn't waste the valiant efforts of his team mates in defending against the rampant home side. Despite being under siege from the Singaporean side, he still managed to get at the end of several good chances but failed to convert them.

Yet, Forkey Doe did not give up and continue to plug away at the front. His opportunistic goal right at the end of the match, proves that he can't be given the time and space, despite Kelantan not enjoying the lion's share of the possession.

Steve Darby will be pleased to see his star striker get back on the scoring charts and he will be needing Forkey Doe to fire on all cylinders to ensure that his side maintain their charge for the league title.
