Kedah 0-2 JDT
The second leg of the FA Cup quarter final match between Kedah and JDT earlier was not one the best matches in Malaysian football we have seen this season. The home side were unable to really gain footing in overturning their two-goal deficit, whereas Pablo Aimar-less JDT were simply content to sit back and absorb the pressure.
In the end, the visitors only attacked sporadically through their evergreen forward Amri Yahyah, and even then only to keep the ball out of their own half.
Near the end of the match though, Amri really piled on the Canaries' misery, after an earlier Norshahrul Idlan goal following a defensive error, by providing an assist to a just subbed in Safee Sali.
The 33-year-old is proving himself a worthy capture by the Southern Tigers.
